Rupert Walker has the unique distinction of possibly having the most Vimeo Staff Picks than any other filmmaker. 17 Vimeo Staff Picks to be specific. In 2019, Walker won the prestigious Red Bull Illume contest for “shot of the year”. In 2020, Walker filmed a commercial with Tiger Woods with friend and collaborator Clay Porter. In 2021, Walker won an X Games Gold medal for one of his mountain bike films and directed the launch film of Rivian’s RS1 truck as well as Canon’s R3 camera release, while simultaneously leading both production and post production efforts on multiple international Red Bull projects.
